The 4M Ranch is located on
21 acres in Pray in South Central Montana just 30
miles north of the historic north entrance to
Yellowstone National Park, 29 miles south of
Livingston, and 8 miles from Chico Hot Springs. We
are surrounded by the Gallatin and Absaroka/Beartooth
Mountain Ranges. Emigrant Peak, one of the highest
in Montana at nearly 11,000 feet, is practically in
the front yard where there are 2 authenticated
teepee rings used by Crow and Shoshone Indians for 1000s of years, a testament to the special nature of
our location. In fact, in the view from the front
deck above, one of them is filled with flowers.

The beautiful mature trees around the log cabin and B&B provide
coolness and calm with the rustling leaves in the frequent breezes. The beauty of the trees, the sounds of Six Mile Creek, and the three surrounding
mountain ranges have been providing lasting memories for guests since
1990.
With only 1 cabin, and 1 private room with bath in our
B&B, our ranch
provides you with wide open freedom and peace that
may be just what you are looking for. Wildlife
abounds here, most frequently deer, chipmunks, raccoons, rabbits. Bear, elk,
fox, coyote, moose, visit once in a while as our
photo album will attest. The 4M Ranch
is a bird lovers paradise, gray partridge,
woodpecker, flicker, finch, bluebird, eagle, hummingbird, crane, geese, hawk,
duck, owl, tanager, nuthatch etc. to name a few we
have logged. The starry nights are a must see out
here; more than a few have exclaimed, "AWESOME."
Amateur astronomers especially will appreciate the clear skies and low light levels, and are welcome to use our 8" Orion
reflector scope. |
